Alice Graham Grant
Sabbath Day: Saturday
Alice Graham Grant began as the Curate of the Advocate in September 2020. As Curate, Alice’s work focuses on supporting households with young families, helping to cultivate the Advocate’s community prayer life, joining in the preaching rotation, and developing relationships with the Advocate’s neighboring communities of color.
Alice is a graduate of Davidson College and Duke Divinity School. She is being sponsored for ordination by St. Titus’ Episcopal Church in Durham and did her diocesan internship at Church of the Holy Family in Chapel Hill. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Alice grew up as a member of Grace Church Brooklyn Heights.
Alice is married to Benjamin Graham, who works for the North Carolina Audubon Society. They have one infant daughter, Wendell. In her free time, Alice likes to play ice hockey at the rink in Hillsborough, and loves camping with her family. They share their home in Durham with one extra-large, floppy dog named Thumper.
