Stewardship at the Advocate

Stewardship begins with gratitude — gratitude for all that we have received from God, and an invitation to share those gifts with one another and with our community.

Stewardship is about more than money. It is how we share what we have — our time, our talents, our financial resources, our presence and our care for one another and our neighbors.

The Advocate is a small and mighty congregation, sustained by the generosity of the people who call this community home. Our pledges support our worship and formation, care for our chapel and grounds, and extend our mission beyond our walls through the Advocate Tithe and our community partnerships.

As we look toward 2027 and the Advocate’s next chapter, financial stewardship is especially important. Our current pledge and plate giving is not sufficient to support a full-time rector. Closing that gap will require the participation of as many households as possible, and we invite you to prayerfully consider beginning a pledge or increasing your current pledge as you are able.

Make Your 2027 Commitment

You may make your financial pledge online through Realm or complete a pledge card.

Our pledge card also offers an opportunity to consider the other gifts you might share — your time, talents, abilities and presence. If you make your financial pledge through Realm, you can still complete the time and talent portion of a pledge card.

All Saints Stewardship In-Gathering

On Sunday, November 1, we will celebrate All Saints Day with a combined 10 am Eucharist and Stewardship In-Gathering.

Bring your completed pledge card to worship, or, if you have already made your financial pledge through Realm, you can complete a card that morning to share the ways you would like to offer your time and talents in the coming year.

Our commitments will be placed on the altar and blessed during the Eucharist as we give thanks for all we have received and offer our gifts for the work God is calling us to in the year ahead.
