The Eucharist at Noon: Celebrating the life and witness of Dame Julian of Norwich, 1417.
Contemplative Prayer at 6 PM.
Thursday, May 13 Feast of the Ascension and Visitation of our Diocesan Bishop, the Rt. Rev. Michael B. Curry, with confirmation/reception of 4 people of the Advocate. Light reception to follow. Bring a friend to hear the inspired preaching of our Bishop, and come support those who being confirmed/received. At Unity Center of Peace. 7 PM.
Saturday, May 15 Arts on Deck, 403 West Weaver Street in Carrboro. 10 AM – noon.
Yoga for all (bring your own mat). Led by Erin Dangler.
Sunday, May 16 The Seventh Sunday of Easter
Morning Liturgy: 8:45 AM Holy Eucharist. The Vicar will celebrate and Erin Dangler, Anita Howell, Mary Foster, and Anne Freeman will lead us in our response to the Gospel. Child care for 1-2 year-olds and Godly Play for 3-6 year-olds during the Liturgy of the Word. At Unity Center of Peace, 8800 Seawell School Road.
Evening Liturgy: 5 PM. Holy Eucharist followed by Dinner Fellowship (food provided). The Vicar will celebrate and Erin Dangler, Anita Howell, Mary Foster, and Anne Freeman will lead us in our response to the Gospel. At Unity Center of Peace, 8800 Seawell School Road. (Please note: there will not be child care offered during the evening liturgy. Children are welcome to be part of the congregation. Crayons and paper will be provided).

Sunday, June 20 Advocate Homecoming and Picnic at Camp New Hope. Swim, hang out, worship, eat, and enjoy the celebration of the return of the Advocate’s vocational progeny — Miranda, Gabe and Roxane return! 3-7PM. Eucharist at 5, followed by dinner. (Note: there will be no Morning Edition this day)
July 23-25 The Advocate’s first camping trip! Join us for fellowship, food, song, story, hiking and ambling at Hanging Rock, North Carolina. We’ve got campsites reserved for up to 30 people for two nights. Others can drive in for the day. More info on the Advocate website.
