My home
It’s falling
My heart
It’s crying
A place I was not born
To
A place to which
my heart is
dedicated.
We fell in love.
My love has fallen.
I saw in the
treeless
smoke-filled
bright-colored
Eyes
the beauty
the love
the story
in the broken
the unfinished
in the land
abused
and beautiful.
A cry in the darkness
the darkness of night
the darkness of death and
tragedy.
Least equipped
most susceptible
think of the threats
all the problems
this
does not occur.
A small place
a dark place
darkened by tragedy
and blood stains
a place of hope and
devastation.
my land
my country
my love
has fallen.
